When it hangs in the living room, it is a mountain that welcomes guests.
When it hangs in the bedroom, it is a mountain that enters dreams.
There are no paths in this painting, yet it makes you feel you could walk on forever.
Ridge after ridge, mist upon mist — as if the earth itself is breathing.In the living room, guests pause before it, saying it quiets something inside them.
Someone asked him: Why not change it?
He said: The mountain never rushes you.
It simply stays there, reminding you —the distance still exists, and you can take your time.
This was not captured in reality.
At least, that's what the photographer says.
One evening, on his way home, he crossed a bridge.
The water below was still. The streetlights had just come on, their glow falling onto the surface like another world turning on its lights.
He didn't have his camera.
But he stood there and watched for a long time.
"I am a hunter of light, captivated by the delicate sensation of sunlight piercing through the morning mist between 6 and 8 a.m."
